NCCIA Summons Imran Khan’s Sister Noreen Niazi Over Alleged Anti-State Social Media Content
Islamabad:** The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has issued a summons to Noreen Niazi, the sister of former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, directing her to appear before the agency in Islamabad on **July 20 at 12:00 p.m.**
According to the notice, the agency is investigating the alleged dissemination of false and derogatory statements against state institutions through social media. The notice warns that failure to appear will be taken as an indication that she has no defense to present.
The summons follows controversial remarks attributed to Noreen Niazi regarding the recent military operation referred to as *Maarka-e-Haq* and the Pakistan Armed Forces.
According to reports, Niazi alleged that the operation was part of a coordinated effort involving the Pakistani military and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She also claimed that Israel was involved and alleged that the objective was to pave the way for Pakistan’s recognition of Israel and the implementation of the Abraham Accords.
She further alleged that former US President Donald Trump praised Pakistan’s military leadership for related reasons and claimed that contacts between Pakistan and Israel had existed.
The remarks have sparked controversy, prompting the NCCIA to initiate legal proceedings and issue the summons.
