Dubai Police Foil Armed Money Exchange Robbery in 10 Minutes, Recover AED 10 Million

Dubai: Dubai Police foiled an armed robbery at a money exchange in the Deira area within 10 minutes, arresting two suspects and recovering the stolen AED 10 million.

According to police, the masked robbers assaulted and tied up the exchange staff before fleeing with the cash. An employee managed to alert Dubai Police using a mobile phone, triggering an immediate emergency response.

Authorities swiftly sealed off the Deira area and launched an aerial surveillance operation. A police helicopter tracked the fleeing suspects, leading to their arrest shortly after the robbery.

Police said the two suspects are nationals of an African country. The entire stolen amount was recovered, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
