Father Arrested for Allegedly Assaulting 11-Year-Old Daughter in Lahore

A man has been arrested in Lahore after allegedly subjecting his 11-year-old daughter to severe physical abuse in the city’s Ichhra area, police said.

According to police, residents alerted authorities after hearing the young girl’s screams. Officers responded promptly and took the girl’s father, identified as Qurban, into custody.

Police said the victim, identified as 11-year-old Fatima, worked as a domestic helper in a house where her employer had accused her of theft. Following the complaint, her father allegedly went to the house and physically assaulted her.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
