Armed Men Attack Police Check Post on N-40 Highway in Chagai; No Casualties Reported

Chagai: Unknown armed men attacked the Kochaki Police Check Post on the N-40 National Highway in Chagai district late Friday night, destroying the facility. However, all three police personnel stationed at the post escaped unharmed, according to police sources.

Officials said three officers were present at the checkpoint when the attack took place. Despite the destruction of the check post, no casualties or injuries were reported.

The attackers fled the scene immediately after carrying out the assault.

Following the incident, police and other law enforcement agencies rushed to the area, secured the site, and collected evidence. A search operation and investigation have been launched to identify and apprehend those responsible.

Police officials said investigators are examining all possible motives behind the attack, while security has been further strengthened in the area to prevent similar incidents.
