Veteran Actor Wasim Abbas Opens Up About Divorce from Saba Hameed
Karachi:Veteran Pakistani actor **Wasim Abbas** has spoken candidly about his marriage and eventual divorce from acclaimed actress **Saba Hameed**, saying the couple mutually decided to end their relationship after 29 years of marriage.
In a recent interview circulating on social media, Abbas said he continues to wish Saba Hameed happiness and holds no ill feelings toward her.
He emphasized that the end of a marriage does not necessarily mean one person is right and the other is wrong. “Sometimes both individuals are sincere in their own way and have valid reasons for their decisions,” he said.
Abbas added that it is better to part ways respectfully than remain in an unhappy relationship. He noted that there is nothing wrong with ending a marriage with dignity and mutual respect.
The actor also revealed that he and Saba Hameed had agreed not to have children together. He has four children from his first marriage, while Saba Hameed has two children from her previous marriage.
Responding to a question about their current relationship, Wasim Abbas said there is no bitterness between them. He shared that they still interact warmly whenever they meet and would be willing to work together again if cast in the same television drama.
