Dispute Over Loud Conversation Sparks Violent Brawl at Bahawalpur Hotel

A violent altercation broke out at a private hotel near University Chowk in Bahawalpur after a customer allegedly asked another couple to lower their voices.

According to police, CCTV footage shows a man descending the stairs and attacking another customer who was seated with a female student. The suspect allegedly punched the victim and threw a chair during the assault. When the student attempted to intervene, she was reportedly pushed to the ground.

The student stated that she and her companion had requested the suspect and his wife to speak more quietly, which angered the man. She further alleged that the suspect identified himself as a police officer before leaving the hotel, only to return later with two accomplices and launch another attack on them.

Police have registered a case on the complaint of the university student. An investigation is underway, and efforts are being made to locate and arrest the suspects.
