ANP Balochistan Backs Young Doctors’ Demands, Calls for Better Security in Public Hospitals

Quetta: A delegation of the Awami National Party (ANP) Balochistan, led by its provincial president Asghar Khan Achakzai, visited the protest camp of the Young Doctors Association (YDA) and expressed full support for the organization’s demands.
During the visit, the ANP delegation urged the Balochistan government to immediately provide the best possible medical treatment and all necessary healthcare facilities for Dr. Mah Noor Nasir, who was injured in a recent incident.
The delegation also called for a transparent, impartial, and comprehensive investigation into the incident involving Dr. Mah Noor Nasir and demanded that those responsible be held accountable in accordance with the law.
Expressing concern over the security situation in public hospitals, the ANP leaders said the lack of adequate protection for healthcare workers reflects the provincial government’s failure to ensure a safe working environment.
The party further demanded that effective security measures be implemented immediately to protect young doctors, medical staff, and other healthcare workers serving in government hospitals across the province.
The ANP delegation included Quetta district president Sanaullah Kakar, Central Working Committee member Dr. Isa Khan Jogezai, District Press Secretary Zainullah Khan, and Muzammil Shah.
