Pakistan’s Interior Minister Meets Iranian Leadership in Tehran Amid Regional Diplomacy Efforts

TEHRAN:Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister **Mohsin Naqvi** has held meetings with Iranian President, Interior Minister, and Foreign Minister during his visit to Tehran.
During the meetings with senior Iranian officials, discussions focused on the current regional situation following the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.
In his meeting with Iran’s Interior Minister, both sides described the US–Iran Memorandum of Understanding as a positive step towards lasting peace in the region.
According to Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson **Esmaeil Baghaei**, Mohsin Naqvi’s visit aims to advance Pakistan’s efforts in facilitating Iran–US negotiations.
The spokesperson of Pakistan’s Foreign Office stated that technical-level talks will focus on the implementation mechanisms of the memorandum of understanding.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister **Ishaq Dar** has arrived in Egypt, where he is scheduled to attend a meeting today with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt. The discussions are expected to focus on peace and stability in the region.
