CM Balochistan Praises Gulistan Education Model, Vows to Expand Community Partnership

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that the education model implemented in Gulistan is exemplary and that the provincial government will expand community participation initiatives to other areas of the province.

He made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation led by prominent tribal and social leader Sardar Ahmad Khan Ghaibzai, which called on him in Quetta to discuss ongoing educational and social development efforts in Gulistan.

During the meeting, the delegation briefed the chief minister on local community-driven initiatives aimed at improving education and social welfare in the region. The discussion also focused on collaboration between the government and local communities and future development prospects.

The chief minister appreciated the progress achieved through community participation in education and social sectors, expressing satisfaction over the results. He said that private and community-led initiatives play a vital role in strengthening sustainable development alongside government efforts.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that the provincial government will continue to encourage and support all positive initiatives aimed at improving education and social welfare. He emphasized that the role of the local community in promoting education in Gulistan is highly significant and commendable.

He added that the government of Balochistan is keen to replicate this model in other parts of the province to ensure that educational opportunities reach all citizens.

The chief minister further reiterated that the government is taking practical steps on a priority basis to improve educational institutions, provide basic facilities, and enhance the overall quality of education in the province.

He said that public participation in education and social development would not only make the development process more effective but also contribute to building a stronger, self-reliant, and more educated society.

Provincial ministers and members of the provincial assembly were also present during the meeting.
