Mir Tahir Bizenjo Says “Ego and Stubbornness” Biggest Internal Weakness of Baloch Nation

QUETTA: Senior leader of the National Party, former senator, and political thinker Mir Tahir Bizenjo has said that “ego and stubbornness” are the biggest internal weaknesses of the Baloch nation, which have historically led to destructive internal conflicts.

In a statement on political and social issues, he said that nations develop their character over centuries based on their history, traditions, and collective psychology, and every nation has its own distinct identity and cultural traits.

Highlighting the strengths of the Baloch people, Bizenjo said that the Baloch are inherently proud and brave, qualities that have enabled them to survive in harsh geographical and political conditions while preserving their identity and mother tongue through centuries.

However, he noted that the same history also reflects internal challenges. He described excessive ego and stubbornness as a major weakness within the Baloch society, stating that such traits have repeatedly led to violent inter-tribal conflicts throughout history.

He said that these internal clashes and disputes have caused long-term social and economic damage to the community and have hindered collective progress.

Bizenjo emphasized the need for the nation to learn from past mistakes and move forward with unity, reconciliation, and a broader national perspective in order to ensure stability and development.
