UAE Announces Major Relief for Pakistanis Facing Visa Issues Amid Regional Tensions

ISLAMABAD/ABU DHABI: The United Arab Emirates (United Arab Emirates) has announced a major relief measure for foreign nationals, including Pakistanis, facing visa-related issues due to the ongoing tense situation in the Middle East and disruptions in flight operations.

According to the Bureau of Immigration and Overseas Employment, the UAE government has introduced a 30-day grace period aimed at helping individuals who have overstayed visas or are facing other immigration violations.

Under the amnesty scheme, which will run from June 10 to July 9, individuals with expired visas or illegal residency status will be allowed to either regularize their stay without paying fines or return to their home countries without facing legal action.

Officials said the initiative is a significant opportunity for undocumented residents to resolve their legal status and avoid future complications.

Pakistani authorities have advised citizens in the UAE to take advantage of this facility by contacting relevant immigration offices to renew their documents or complete the legal process for returning home.

The Bureau of Immigration and Overseas Employment has urged Pakistanis to strictly follow the guidelines and make full use of the amnesty period to ensure compliance with UAE immigration laws.
