Drizzle Brings Pleasant Weather to Karachi, Rain Eases Heat Across Punjab
KARACHI: Light drizzle in several areas of Karachi late at night turned the weather pleasant and provided relief from warm conditions.
According to reports, light rain was recorded in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Rashid Minhas Road, North Karachi, and other parts of the city, bringing a refreshing change in the atmosphere.
Meanwhile, strong winds followed by rain in various areas of Lahore disrupted flight operations, causing difficulties in arrivals and departures at the airport.
In Punjab, a house roof collapsed due to heavy rain in Patoki and Faisalabad, leaving five people injured. Rescue teams responded to the incidents and shifted the injured for medical treatment.
Rain was also reported in several other cities of Punjab, breaking the intensity of the heat wave and bringing much-needed relief to residents.
