Indian Navy Did Not Dare to Enter Our Waters During “Operation Haq,” Says Pakistan Navy Official

Islamabad: Deputy Chief of Naval Staff Operations Rear Admiral Shafaat Ali has said that the Indian Navy did not have the courage to enter Pakistani waters during “Operation Haq,” despite being fully equipped.
Addressing a press briefing on the completion of one year of the operation, he stated that India attempted to deploy a naval fleet, but Pakistan’s coastal installations remained secure and fully operational throughout the situation.
He said that coordination among the armed forces played a key role in ensuring success, adding that India issued what he described as “irresponsible statements” to offset its embarrassment.
“The Indian Navy did not dare to approach our waters,” he said, adding that Pakistan is fully capable of defending itself in both peace and war.
He further stated that while Pakistan seeks peace, it does not consider peace a weakness, and the country continues to enhance and refine its capabilities.
Rear Admiral Shafaat Ali said that Pakistan’s naval assets remain deployed at sea and emphasized that adversaries should act responsibly while considering ground realities.
He reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully prepared to defend the country’s maritime borders at all times.
