Massive Public Gathering Planned for Osman Kakar’s 5th Death Anniversary, Motorcycle Rally and Outreach Campaign Launched

Quetta – The Pakhtunkhwa National Awami Party (PkNAP), Quetta District, has finalized preparations for a large public and political gathering marking the fifth death anniversary of martyr Osman Khan Kakar, scheduled to be held on June 21 at the Football Stadium in Qilla Saifullah.
A key organizational meeting of the party was held in Quetta under the chairmanship of Provincial President Nasrullah Khan Ziarat, where detailed preparations for the event were reviewed. The meeting assessed organizational, administrative, and publicity arrangements and expressed satisfaction over the ongoing preparations.
Senior party leaders including former Senator Rehmatullah Khan, Central Senior Secretary Syed Qadir Agha Advocate, Provincial Secretary General Fakir Khushal Kakar, and other central, provincial, and district officials attended the meeting. Local reports presented during the session confirmed that mobilization efforts across Quetta and surrounding districts are in full swing.
The meeting decided to intensify the publicity campaign, announcing a major motorcycle rally on June 18 from Ayub Stadium, Quetta. The rally will pass through key roads, markets, and neighborhoods to promote the upcoming gathering. Party flags, banners, and posters featuring Osman Khan Kakar will be displayed, along with public announcements across the city.
It was also decided to use modern projection-based campaigning, where documentaries highlighting Osman Kakar’s political struggle, parliamentary role, public services, and democratic contributions will be shown in various areas. The initiative aims to educate younger generations about his ideology and struggle for democratic rights.
Speakers at the meeting emphasized that Osman Khan Kakar dedicated his political life to the rights of the Pashtun nation, constitutional supremacy, democracy, provincial autonomy, and human rights. They said his voice against injustice, oppression, and undemocratic practices remains relevant and influential today.
Party leaders confirmed that top central leadership, including Chairman Pashtunkhwa Khan Kakar, Co-Chairman Ustad Mukhtar Khan Yousafzai, Senior Deputy Chairman Rehmatullah Khan, and Secretary General Khurshid Kaka Ji, will address the public gathering. They will speak on national political issues, Pashtun national movement, democracy, constitutional rights, and public concerns.
The meeting expressed satisfaction over the growing public enthusiasm for the event, stating that Osman Khan Kakar continues to live in the hearts of the people through his political struggle and ideology.
Party officials urged workers, youth, supporters, and democratic forces to participate in large numbers in the June 21 gathering to pay tribute to the late leader and reaffirm commitment to his political vision.
