Quetta Tragedy: Man Allegedly Kills Wife and Four Children Before Attempted Suicide, Dies in Hospital

Quetta – A deeply tragic incident has been reported from the Wahdat Colony area of Quetta, where a government employee allegedly killed his wife and four children before attempting suicide, according to initial police reports.
Police sources said the victims include two daughters and two sons, aged approximately 13, 10, 6, and 4 years. After receiving information about the incident, police reached the scene and shifted the bodies to a hospital for legal formalities.
Officials further stated that the accused allegedly attempted to take his own life after the killings. He sustained critical injuries and was moved to a private hospital, where he later died during treatment.
Meanwhile, a video statement allegedly recorded by a man named Asif has also surfaced on social media prior to the incident. In the video, he reportedly leveled serious allegations against a person identified as Aftab Jabal, claiming harassment, threats, and severe mental distress, and warning that he would hold him responsible if anything happened to him.
Police have launched a full investigation into the incident from multiple angles, including the viral video statement and allegations of threats. Authorities said that the exact facts and motives behind the tragedy will be determined after the completion of the investigation.
