Don’t Push PTI So Hard That It Is Forced Out of the System: Barrister Gohar

Skardu (Kudrat News) — Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has said that the party should not be pressured so much that it is forced to move out of the political system.

Addressing a corner meeting in Gilgit-Baltistan, he said that the party should not be made to think what benefit there is in remaining within the system, warning that such circumstances could force PTI to withdraw from the assemblies and the Senate as well.

Barrister Gohar alleged that not allowing PTI to run its election campaign amounts to pre-poll rigging. He said that stopping party leaders and MNAs or forcing them into exile is not only unconstitutional but also an attempt against democracy.

He further stated that those who lost their constituencies are now visiting Gilgit-Baltistan to seek votes from the people. He claimed that their four-year performance is limited to preventing PTI from participating in elections in order to win. He expressed confidence that the “self-respecting people” of Gilgit-Baltistan would not be deceived by them.
