Aleema Khan Questions KP Budget Approval, Urges Meeting with Imran Khan First

Islamabad (News Desk) — Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has cautioned Sohail Afridi over discussions regarding the approval of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa budget, insisting that a meeting with the PTI founder should take place before any such decision.

According to reports, when Chief Minister Sohail Afridi spoke about passing the budget, Aleema Khan interrupted him and questioned the move, asking, “Why are you passing the budget? Tell them to arrange my meeting with him first.”

Aleema Khan stated that Imran Khan had also emphasized last year that the budget should be discussed with him. She urged party leaders to ensure a meeting with the PTI founder before the budget is finalized.

She further claimed that the PTI founder has been isolated, describing the situation as unlawful and unconstitutional.

The remarks come amid ongoing discussions within PTI regarding the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa budget and the party’s political strategy.
