“My Qurbani Was Very Stylish This Year,” Says Nadia Khan, Shares Fun Experience

LAHORE: Television host and actress Nadia Khan shared a light-hearted account of her Eid-ul-Azha experience, saying that her Qurbani this year was “very stylish” as she received packaged meat delivered directly to her home.

Speaking on a private TV morning show, Nadia Khan explained that instead of the traditional process, she opted for an online Qurbani arrangement. She humorously noted that this time she received neatly packed portions of meat at her doorstep, making the entire experience convenient and modern.

She added in a joking tone that although she received “packages,” they were not the usual kind, but meat packets, which made the studio audience smile.

Nadia Khan said that in her residential society, on-site animal slaughter is no longer allowed. She explained that earlier special arrangements and tents were set up for Qurbani, but those facilities have now been discontinued.

According to her, she was informed that items such as brain and trotters could not be delivered, but the main meat portions would be provided in hygienically packed form. She further shared that she received around 15 kilograms of properly packaged meat.

The actress added that in previous years she used to be actively involved in handling and distributing meat at home, but this time she did not have to go through any of that effort.

Concluding with humor, she said her Qurbani this year was truly “stylish” because she only had to receive the packages.
