Neha Dhupia, Bipasha Basu Named in ₹60 Crore Fraud Case Linked to Raj Kundra

MUMBAI: Bollywood actresses Neha Dhupia and Bipasha Basu have been named in the ongoing ₹60 crore fraud case involving businessman Raj Kundra, husband of actress Shilpa Shetty.
Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty are currently under investigation by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Mumbai Police in connection with alleged financial irregularities tied to their former company.
According to Indian media reports, Raj Kundra, in his latest statement to investigators, claimed that a significant portion of the company’s funds—around ₹20 crore—was spent on promotional campaigns for films and projects. He further alleged that Neha Dhupia and Bipasha Basu were part of these promotional activities and had received payments for their participation.
Kundra also presented promotional images as evidence to support his claims.
However, there has been no independent verification so far of whether the actresses were indeed paid or if they were aware of the company’s alleged financial irregularities. The investigation into the high-profile case remains ongoing.
