Ishaq Dar Meets Marco Rubio in Washington, Discusses Regional and Global Situation

Washington: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington, where both sides discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and global developments.
According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office, the two leaders expressed satisfaction over the positive progress in Pakistan-US relations and reviewed the evolving regional and international situation.
The Foreign Office stated that both sides agreed to enhance cooperation in key areas including trade, investment, security, and counterterrorism efforts.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the Pakistan-US partnership.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio reportedly acknowledged Pakistan’s diplomatic and mediation efforts for peace and stability in the region and beyond during the meeting.
