Balochistan Always Stood for Nation’s Defense When Needed: CM Sarfraz Bugti

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti congratulated the nation on Youm-e-Takbeer, saying that May 28 reminds the country of the historic and courageous decision taken by the government, armed forces, and the entire nation not to bow before powerful forces.

He said the nuclear tests conducted in Chagai symbolized the nation’s determination, dignity, and defense capability. “Whenever Pakistan needed it, Balochistan always presented its chest for the defense of the homeland,” he added.

The chief minister stated that the then chief minister Sardar Akhtar Mengal personally drove the prime minister’s vehicle to the Chagai test site, calling it an important chapter in history and a clear message that the people of Balochistan have always played their role in the country’s defense and stability.

He said Youm-e-Takbeer is not only a reminder of national defense but also a day of renewed commitment and national unity.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti further said that the nation must stand alongside the armed forces to counter internal and external conspiracies against the country. He vowed that terrorists would have to pay the price for the sacred blood of the martyrs and prayed for lasting peace in Balochistan and across Pakistan.
