Hajj Sermon Emphasizes Tawheed, Patience, and Unity of Muslims in Arafat

Makkah: Millions of pilgrims from around the world gathered in Arafat to listen to the Hajj sermon, delivered by Sheikh Dr. Ali bin Abdulrahman Al-Hudhaifi.
According to details, the sermon was delivered in the presence of a vast congregation of pilgrims who had assembled in the plains of Arafat to perform the most significant ritual of Hajj.
After praising Allah and sending blessings upon Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Khateeb emphasized that Hajj has been made an obligatory act of worship by Allah for Muslims.
He stated that the earthquake of the Day of Judgment will be extremely severe and that the greatest success in the Hereafter lies in Tawheed (monotheism). He warned that those who commit shirk and disbelief call upon entities that have no power to bring benefit or harm.
The Khateeb further said that those who fear Allah will be rewarded with double Paradise, and that Allah loves those who remain patient. He reminded the pilgrims that previous nations who showed ingratitude for Allah’s blessings had those blessings taken away from them.
He highlighted that Prophet Ibrahim (AS) was commanded to proclaim the pilgrimage, and Allah ensured that the call reached people across distant lands, bringing millions to perform Hajj seeking success in this world and the Hereafter.
He urged pilgrims to avoid disputes and sinful acts during Hajj and to fulfill all commandments of Allah, stressing that respecting the symbols of Allah is a sign of piety.
The sermon also reflected on the unity of Muslims, noting that people of different races and backgrounds gathered in one place as a great manifestation of Allah’s signs. He said that Allah expresses pride to the angels regarding the pilgrims who gather in worship.
The Khateeb explained the Hajj journey ahead, including the stay in Arafat, followed by movement to Muzdalifah and then Mina
