Saudi Arabia Announces Four-Day Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays; Pakistan Likely to Observe Three Days

Riyadh/Islamabad: Saudi Arabia has announced a four-day holiday for the private sector on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, starting from the end of work on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, corresponding to 29th Ramadan. The break will continue for four days, covering private and non-profit organizations, according to the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources spokesperson Muhammad Al-Ruzqi.
Meanwhile, in Pakistan, the Meteorological Department has predicted that Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to fall on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Following this, the Cabinet Division has issued a notification declaring three public holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr on March 21, 22, and 23, 2026. These holidays will allow citizens to celebrate the festival while observing traditional customs and gatherings.
