Jacobabad: Confirmation of Assault on Female Polio Worker

Jacobabad: A female polio worker has been confirmed as a victim of sexual assault during the ongoing polio vaccination campaign in Jacobabad. District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Irshad Sarki stated that DNA evidence has confirmed the assault on the female worker.
Dr. Sarki reported that the laboratory results from LUMS University in Jamshoro have been released, affirming the findings. He mentioned that the case report would be presented in court today.
According to the report, the DNA samples of the victim and the accused, Ahmed Jakhurani, matched. The female polio worker was attacked on September 11 during the vaccination drive.
