Federal, Balochistan Governments Vow to Defeat Militants After Quetta Blast

The federal government and the Balochistan government have reaffirmed their commitment to bringing the terrorists involved in recent attacks to justice.
A special meeting chaired by Mohsin Naqvi and Mir Sarfraz Bugti was held on Sunday to review the security situation following the deadly blast near a railway crossing in Quetta.
During the meeting, participants strongly condemned the attack on unarmed civilians and expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy with the families of the victims.
The Inspector General of Balochistan Police presented an initial report on the railway crossing explosion.
Speaking on the occasion, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said the federal government stands firmly with the Balochistan government during this difficult time and that the sacrifices of the martyrs will always be remembered.
Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti thanked the interior minister for supporting Balochistan in challenging times and vowed that the terrorists responsible for the attack would be taken to their logical end. He also assured that the families of the victims would not be left alone.
The explosion near Chaman Phatak railway track in Quetta on Sunday claimed the lives of 14 people, including three Frontier Corps personnel, while several others were injured.
