Karachi Road Rage Incident Settled After Reconciliation Between Two Parties

Islamabad / Karachi: A road rage incident in Karachi’s Ferozabad area, involving the harassment of a car-borne family allegedly over a “right of way” dispute, has taken a new turn after both parties reached a mutual settlement.

According to details, the incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Ferozabad Police Station, where a family traveling in a car was allegedly harassed by a man and a woman who were also in another vehicle. The accused reportedly damaged the victim’s car and broke its windshield.

The incident gained attention after the victim recorded a video showing the confrontation and damage to the vehicle while his wife and children were present inside the car, who reportedly locked themselves for safety.

Police said that a written complaint was filed by the affected citizen, identified as Wasim Altaf, a resident of Defence View. He stated that the suspects—traveling in a Toyota Yaris—broke his side mirror and front windshield, used abusive language, and created panic for his family.

Ferozabad Police Station SHO Adeel Afzal confirmed that after the complaint, both parties were contacted. He said the matter appeared to be a personal dispute between two families.

Police further stated that the accused individuals were called to the police station, where they apologized to the complainant. Following this, both sides reached a reconciliation and the matter was settled amicably.

Authorities confirmed that the incident, which took place on May 20 in the evening, has now been resolved after a mutual agreement, and both parties have returned home.
