LNG Prices Hiked by Up to 28 Percent, OGRA Issues Notification

Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has issued a notification increasing liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices by up to 28 percent for the month of May.
According to the notification, LNG prices for the Sui Southern system have been increased by $3.51 per MMBTU, while prices for the Sui Northern system have gone up by $3.4 per MMBTU.
The revised LNG price for Sui Northern has been set at $16.98 per MMBTU, whereas for Sui Southern it has been fixed at $16.04 per MMBTU.
Officials said the price adjustment reflects changes in international market trends and import costs, resulting in a significant increase in domestic LNG pricing for both gas distribution systems.
