Rajinikanth Breaks Silence on Vijay’s Election Victory and Becoming Tamil Nadu Chief Minister

Mumbai: Indian cinema superstar Rajinikanth has finally responded to speculation surrounding actor Joseph Vijay’s reported electoral victory and his becoming Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
According to Indian media, Rajinikanth addressed the issue during an interview, reacting to ongoing rumours suggesting he was unhappy or jealous about Vijay’s alleged political success. He said he had been facing criticism over the matter and felt compelled to respond, as silence could be misinterpreted as confirmation.
He clarified that after the election results, he met former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin, which also drew public criticism. However, he stressed that his friendship with Stalin is beyond politics.
Dismissing claims of jealousy, Rajinikanth stated that he had already congratulated Vijay on his success and added that he is not even active in politics, so there is no reason for envy.
In a light-hearted remark, he said that perhaps he might feel jealous if Kamal Haasan ever becomes Chief Minister, joking about the age difference between him and Vijay and saying comparison between them does not make sense.
His comments have gone viral on social media, with fans widely sharing clips from the interview and praising his humorous take on the rumours.
