Lahore Robbery Case Solved: Nephew Turns Out to Be Mastermind Behind Armed House Heist

LAHORE: A sensational armed robbery case in the Shalimar police jurisdiction has been resolved after investigators uncovered that the mastermind behind the crime was the victim’s own nephew.
According to police officials, the suspects were arrested during an operation led by SHO Ali Hassan and his team. Initial investigations revealed that the main accused, along with his friends, had planned and executed the robbery at a relative’s house.
The suspects were later tracked down in the Gulberg area with the help of Safe City surveillance cameras and multiple CCTV footages. The footage reportedly shows the suspects fleeing the scene after committing the crime.
Police said armed men had entered the house at gunpoint, held the family hostage, and looted gold and other valuables. During interrogation, the victim’s nephew confessed to planning and facilitating the robbery.
Law enforcement officials recovered the stolen gold, cash, a pistol, and a motorcycle used in the crime. Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects identified as Zargam, Haider, and Ammar, while further investigation is underway.
