Lahore High Court Orders Return of Rs 70 Million Bail Guarantee to Maryam Nawaz

The Lahore High Court has approved the request to return Rs 7 crore deposited as surety by Maryam Nawaz.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Aalia Neelum heard the case related to the Chaudhry Sugar Mills matter.
According to court proceedings, the amount was deposited by Maryam Nawaz as a bail guarantee in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had no objection after the case was concluded, following which the request for the return of the deposited funds was filed.
The court subsequently directed the authorities to release the Rs 7 crore surety amount to the petitioner.
