Five Killed After Rickshaw Falls Into Ravine Near Nana Sahib in Pishin

Pishin: At least five people were killed in a tragic traffic accident near the Nana Sahib area of Pishin district after a passenger rickshaw plunged into a deep ravine.
According to reports, the rickshaw, carrying local passengers, lost control while travelling on a mountainous road and fell into the gorge. The crash was so severe that all five passengers died on the spot.
Initial information suggests the accident may have been caused by speeding, brake failure, or the poor condition of the road. However, authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the incident.
Soon after the accident, local residents and rescue teams reached the scene and started relief operations. The bodies were later shifted to a nearby hospital, where identification and legal formalities are underway.
Emotional scenes were witnessed at the hospital as relatives of the deceased arrived to receive the bodies of their loved ones.
Local residents expressed serious concern over the deteriorated condition of the mountain road and the absence of protective barriers at dangerous turns. They urged the government to take immediate safety measures to prevent further loss of human lives.
Police officials said the location where the accident occurred is considered highly dangerous and that similar accidents had also taken place there in the past. Authorities said a detailed report on the incident is being prepared.
