No Leniency Over Poor Performance in Public Relations, Says DGPR Balochistan Askar Khan

Quetta: An online meeting of sector offices was held under the chairmanship of Askar Khan, in which district officers from Kalat, Ziarat, Chaman, and Loralai participated.
During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of district-level performance, publicity of ongoing government initiatives, and public awareness campaigns across the province of Balochistan.
The Director General Public Relations (DGPR) individually sought performance reports from all district officers and discussed in detail the media coverage of government projects, development initiatives, and public welfare activities in different districts.
Speaking on the occasion, DGPR Askar Khan said that officers demonstrating excellent performance will be encouraged and appreciated at all levels, while no leniency will be shown towards those with poor performance.
He emphasized that the Public Relations Department is playing a key role in highlighting the positive policies and public welfare initiatives of the Government of Balochistan, and therefore all officers must perform their duties with greater dedication and professionalism.
Askar Khan directed officials to ensure effective media coverage of development and public interest projects being carried out by the provincial government. He instructed them to produce modern communication materials including videos, posters, and social media content, and to launch effective publicity campaigns so that accurate and timely information reaches the public.
He further stressed strengthening coordination with the media at the district level and adopting a coordinated strategy to highlight government performance in order to build public trust.
At the conclusion of the meeting, officers from various districts presented their performance reports and expressed their commitment to further improve their work in the future.
