Pakistan Issues LNG Spot Tenders for May Shipments

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan LNG Limited has issued spot tenders to procure liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes for the month of May, according to sources in the Petroleum Division.
The company has invited bids from international suppliers for two LNG cargoes, with the deadline for submission set for May 7. The bids will be opened on the same day.
Sources said the delivery window for the first LNG cargo is scheduled between May 12 and 14, while the second cargo is expected to arrive between May 24 and 26.
The development comes days after Awais Ahmad Leghari stated that LNG supplies had been received, helping end electricity load management across the country.
He had earlier acknowledged that the public faced power load management in recent days but assured that the situation improved after the arrival of LNG, restoring stability to the power supply system.
