Sarfaraz Bugti Meets Maulana Fazlur Rehman; Agreement Reached to Resolve Madrasa Registration Issue Through Dialogue

Islamabad: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, met with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence in Islamabad, where both leaders discussed the province’s overall political situation, law and order, and recent developments.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged detailed views on maintaining peace and stability in Balochistan, promoting political harmony, and addressing various public and administrative issues. The discussion also covered recent concerns related to madrasa registration matters, with both leaders agreeing that all issues should be resolved through mutual understanding and meaningful dialogue.
Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti stated that the Balochistan government is committed to promoting lasting peace, tolerance, and a culture of dialogue, and will continue engaging with all political and religious parties to ensure stability in the province.
He emphasized that political harmony and cooperation are essential for the welfare of the people of Balochistan. Both leaders agreed to continue such engagements in the future to address emerging issues in a timely and amicable manner.
The meeting was also attended by Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Maulana Salahuddin Ayyubi, and Maulana Asad Mahmood. Further consultations between the provincial government and JUI-F leadership are expected in Quetta in the coming days.
