China, US Relations Remain Broadly Stable, Cooperation Should Be Strengthened: Chinese Foreign Minister

Islamabad (Khabar Daily) — Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has said that relations between China and the United States have remained generally stable, stressing the need to enhance cooperation and resolve differences.
According to Chinese media, Wang Yi made these remarks during a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
The Chinese Foreign Minister emphasized that the Taiwan issue concerns China’s core interests, adding that the United States should honor its commitments and make the right strategic choices.
Reports further stated that the two foreign ministers also discussed the evolving situation in the Middle East during their conversation.
Both sides reportedly agreed on the importance of continued communication to manage differences and maintain global stability.
