Pakistan Ranks 16th in Global Outsourcing Talent Index 2026

Islamabad: Pakistan has achieved a significant milestone by securing the 16th position among 193 countries in the 2026 Global Outsourcing Talent Index released by Ataraxis, Federal Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima Khawaja said.
According to the minister, Pakistan is now among the top 9 percent of countries globally in terms of outsourcing talent. She highlighted that Pakistan ranks ahead of several countries, including China (37th), Vietnam (32nd), Colombia (31st), and major Western European nations such as Germany (84th), France (73rd), Spain (49th), and the United Kingdom (29th).
The minister further stated that Pakistan has achieved a talent score of 80 out of 100, placing it 8th globally on that specific metric. She added that Pakistan ranks ahead of all European Union countries, Middle Eastern nations, and African countries included in the index.
Shaza Fatima noted that Pakistan’s technology ecosystem is growing at an average annual rate of around 20 percent, reflecting its increasing capacity and strength in the global IT and outsourcing industry.
