Vehicle Used in Dr. Sarang’s Killing Recovered as Karachi Police Identify Suspects

Karachi: Police have made significant progress in the investigation of Dr. Sarang’s قتل case, recovering the vehicle used in the shooting near Sharea Faisal’s Metropole area.
According to investigators, the attackers had rented the vehicle from Malir to carry out the crime. Two suspects involved in the incident have been identified, and raids are underway to arrest them.
Authorities said efforts are also ongoing to locate the rickshaw driver who was driving Dr. Sarang and his wife at the time of the attack.
Police confirmed that the victim’s widow has recorded her initial statement, adding that no clear motive such as personal enmity or financial dispute has emerged so far.
The widow informed investigators that Dr. Sarang was employed at two different hospitals in Gulistan-e-Jauhar and Korangi.
Officials also noted that the family has not provided further cooperation in the investigation since the burial.
The incident occurred two days ago when unidentified assailants opened fire on Dr. Sarang while he was traveling with his wife in a rickshaw. The attackers, who were chase the couple in a car, fled the scene after carrying out the shooting.
