Lahore High Court Grants Bail to Social Media Activist Falak Javed in Alleged Fake Video Case

Lahore: The Lahore High Court has approved the bail of social media activist Falak Javed in a case related to the alleged circulation of a fake video involving Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari.

During the hearing, the court approved her bail and directed her to submit surety bonds worth Rs100,000.

The case was heard by Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry, while Falak Javed was represented by Barrister Mian Ali Ashfaq.

According to details, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) had registered a case against Falak Javed and others for allegedly circulating a fake video of Azma Bukhari on social media.

Falak Javed had been in custody since September 24, 2025 in connection with the case.
