Three Youths Die After Consuming Contaminated Halwa in D.I. Khan
Dera Ismail Khan:** Three young men lost their lives after allegedly consuming contaminated halwa in the village of Paloski, located in Darazinda tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan district, police said.
According to officials, two of the victims died on the spot, while the third succumbed to his condition while being shifted to a hospital.
Police stated that the deceased belonged to the family of Haji Jamal Khan Karamzai. Hospital sources later identified the victims as Sheran Khan, Fatah Muhammad, and Noor Muhammad.
The bodies have been shifted to Mufti Mehmood Hospital for post-mortem examination.
The Station House Officer (SHO) Darazinda confirmed that an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the incident and whether the food consumed was indeed contaminated.
