Aleema Khan Announces PECA Petition Against Atta Tarar and Uzma Bukhari

Islamabad: Aleema Khan, sister of former prime minister Imran Khan, has announced plans to file a petition under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) against Atta Tarar and Uzma Bukhari.
Speaking to the media, Aleema Khan accused the two PML-N leaders of making false allegations against Qasim Khan, stating that legal action would be pursued under PECA. She said both politicians should be held accountable and could face imprisonment under the same law.
She further revealed that legal counsel Salman Akram Raja has been approached to file the petition on behalf of Imran Khan, seeking action over what she described as baseless claims.
Aleema Khan also criticized the judicial system, alleging that courts were acting under external pressure and not independently. She urged supporters of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to take to the streets and protest to ensure that cases involving Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, and other detainees are heard fairly.
Expressing concern over Imran Khan’s health, she said the family has requested that he be admitted to Shifa International Hospital for a thorough medical examination, particularly regarding his eye condition. She questioned the credibility of medical reports claiming his recovery and called for an independent assessment.
