PSL 11: International Stars from Australia and New Zealand Arrive in Pakistan

Islamabad: Renowned cricketers from Australia and New Zealand have arrived in Pakistan to participate in the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League.

A video shared by Islamabad United showed New Zealand players Devon Conway and Mark Chapman greeting fans in Urdu upon their arrival at the airport. In the clip, Chapman can be heard saying, “We are here, Sheroz,” expressing excitement ahead of the tournament.

Meanwhile, Australian star Steve Smith has also arrived in Lahore to join Multan Sultans.

Other foreign players, including Tabraiz Shamsi, Josh Philippe, Peter Siddle, and head coach Tim Paine, have also reached Pakistan as part of the Multan Sultans squad.

In a significant development, the Pakistan Cricket Board has revised the PSL 11 schedule under austerity measures. The tournament will now be held in only two cities and without spectators.

The PCB chairman, during a recent press conference, apologized to fans and confirmed that ticket holders will be issued full refunds.
