Trump Says He Will Not Accept Khamenei’s Son as Iran’s Next Supreme Leader

Washington: US President Donald Trump stated that he intends to have a role in the selection of Iran’s next supreme leader but will not accept Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also criticized the leaders of the United Kingdom and Spain. Referring to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump said, “Starmer is no Winston Churchill. I am surprised and disappointed by the UK’s stance. Everyone knows the enemy is attacking us, and Starmer should provide bases without hesitation.”

Regarding Spain, Trump said, “While we have many successful countries, Spain has failed. Its behavior is irresponsible, and it harbors resentment against NATO.” He added that although he maintains a good relationship with Starmer, the UK sometimes fails to act on important matters.
