Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq: 67 Militants Killed as Attacks Foiled in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Islamabad: At least 67 militants were killed during overnight security operations in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as authorities said multiple cross-border attacks were successfully thwarted under “Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq.”
In a special update posted on the social media platform X, Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated that security forces effectively repelled coordinated assaults carried out by militants described as Afghan Taliban fighters.
According to the minister, in northern Balochistan, militants launched physical attacks at 16 different locations across the districts of Qila Saifullah District, Nushki District, and Chaman District. In addition, security forces were targeted through firing raids at 25 separate points. All attacks were repulsed, resulting in the killing of 27 militants, while several others were reported injured.

During the defense operations, one soldier of FC Balochistan North embraced martyrdom and five personnel sustained injuries.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, militants attempted a physical assault at one location and carried out firing raids at 12 different sites. Officials said all attempts were foiled without any casualties among security forces. A total of 40 militants were killed in follow-up operations conducted throughout the night in the province.
The information minister added that follow-up operations are still underway, and a detailed briefing is expected to be shared later in the day.
