All Parties Support Baloch Unity Committee’s Demands; Urge FIR Against FC Personnel and Recovery of Missing Persons
Nushki:The All Parties in Nushki have expressed full support for the Baloch Unity Committee’s movement and demands. They have called for an FIR to be registered against FC personnel involved in firing at rally participants and for the recovery of missing persons. The press conference, held at the Baloch Youth Committee (BYC) protest camp, was addressed by several key figures.
The speakers included BNP District President Haji Mir Bahadur Khan Mengal, former MPA Babu Muhammad Rahim Mengal, CC Member Mir Khurshid Jamaldini, National Party Provincial General Secretary Khair Bakhsh Baloch, Farooq Baloch, District President Rab Nawaz Shah, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) General Secretary Haji Manzoor Ahmad Mengal, Hafiz Abdullah Gorgij, Mir Zahoor Badini, Jamiat-e-Nazriati District Amir Mufti Fidaur Rehman Reki, Jamaat-e-Islami Provincial Leader Hafiz Motiur Rehman Mengal, Maulvi Muhammad Qasim Mengal, BNP District Organizer and CC Member Mir Muhammad Ayub Badini, Sunni Ulema Council Amir Hafiz Ibrahim Hussaini, and PML-N’s Syed Muhammad Sherani.
The speakers criticized the state’s failure to uphold the rule of law and condemned the excessive use of force against peaceful democratic protests. They highlighted the issue of enforced disappearances in Balochistan, emphasizing that the recovery of missing persons is a constitutional right. They denounced the bypassing of legal procedures by authorities and expressed frustration over the inaction in registering cases against FC personnel involved in the Nushki incident.
They described the delay in registering the FIR as indicative of administrative incompetence and suggested that officials appear to be engaged in extortion rather than performing their duties. The All Parties in Nushki called for immediate acceptance and implementation of the BYC’s demands, warning that failure to address these issues could lead to further protests and complications for the administration and government.
The press conference was also attended by political and tribal leaders, including Haji Mir Hayat Khan Jamaldini and Amir Muhammad Muhammad Hasni, head of the Nushki Youth Movement.
