Biometric Verification Facility Expanded to Courts Nationwide to Ensure Transparent and Citizen-Friendly Justice

**Islamabad:** In a major step toward making the justice system more secure, transparent, and citizen-friendly, biometric verification services for litigants have now been extended to courts across Pakistan.
The initiative aims to ensure authenticated identity verification, prevent fraud and misrepresentation, and enhance the speed and reliability of judicial proceedings.
Under the new arrangement, litigants can complete biometric verification not only at relevant court complexes but also at any National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) e-Sahulat center nationwide.
Officials stated that this facility will save citizens from unnecessary travel and improve access to judicial services, particularly for people living in remote areas.
Additionally, a modern facial recognition system has been introduced for elderly litigants and individuals whose fingerprints may not be clearly readable, ensuring that no citizen faces difficulty due to technical reasons.
Authorities emphasized that the new system incorporates effective safeguards against false statements and forgery, which will enhance both transparency and efficiency in judicial matters.
The initiative is being described as a significant milestone toward establishing a modern, efficient, and accountable judicial system while making legal services more accessible to the public.
