Tarlai Blast: Suicide Bomber Trained in Afghanistan, India Behind Attack, Says Federal Minister

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily): Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry stated that the suicide bomber responsible for the Tarlai blast was a resident of Peshawar who received training in Afghanistan, allegedly with support from India.
During a National Assembly session, a Fatiha was recited for the victims of the Tarlai incident by Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari of JUI. Following this, a motion to suspend routine proceedings was passed, and the agenda of the session was temporarily deferred for a discussion on the attack.
Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry explained that the attacker first targeted guards and then entered an Imambargah, detonating himself inside. So far, 33 worshippers have been martyred, most of them young students attending the prayers, while over 150 people have been injured. Among the deceased is the cousin of IG Islamabad, Hasan, while his uncle was also injured.
The minister confirmed that the suicide bomber has been identified as Yasir Khan, and the Nowshera CTD has arrested four other terrorists linked to the attack. One of the killed attackers was also a suicide bomber.
He emphasized that intelligence agencies have successfully prevented many such incidents, but despite security SOPs at places of worship, security personnel were unable to stop the bomber. Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry asserted that India trained the suicide attacker in Afghanistan and played a role behind the entire operation.
