Hackers Breach Digital Billboards in Karachi, Display Obscene Content

Unknown hackers allegedly compromised digital advertisement screens installed on **Khayaban-e-Ittehad Road in DHA**, briefly broadcasting obscene content, authorities confirmed on Tuesday.
According to officials, the incident occurred on advertisement screens mounted along **Abdul Sattar Avenue**, where unethical material was displayed for a short duration after the systems were hacked by unidentified individuals.
A video of the incident quickly went viral on social media, prompting the relevant authorities to take **immediate notice**. The affected screens were promptly switched off to prevent further transmission of the content.
As a precautionary measure, officials said that several digital advertising screens installed not only on major DHA roads but also along **Shahrah-e-Faisal and Karsaz Road** have been temporarily shut down.
The **National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA)** and the **Cyber Crime Unit** have launched a formal investigation. Authorities stated that technical evidence is being collected to identify and trace those involved in hacking the digital screens.
