KP Chief Minister Suhail Afridi Says PM Has Invited Him, Vows to Present Province’s Case

**Islamabad:**
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi has said that he has received an invitation from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and will present the province’s issues before him.

Addressing a Khyber Peace Jirga, Afridi condemned the recent incidents of terrorism in Balochistan and expressed solidarity with the affected people.

He alleged that in the past, the federal government had misappropriated billions of rupees meant for internally displaced persons (IDPs). Afridi said that when he allocated Rs4 billion for the affected people, the federal government leveled corruption allegations against him. “Not just Rs4 billion, we will provide Rs100 billion for the victims,” he added.

The chief minister further stated that he would visit all tribal districts and seek public opinion on holding a sit-in in Islamabad.

Afridi also claimed that conspiracies were underway to impose governor’s rule in the province, alleging that efforts were being made either to have him disqualified through courts or removed from the way.
