Hazara Democratic Party Condemns Violence Against Employees and Political Leaders, Demands Immediate Release of Detainees

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta):** The Hazara Democratic Party (HDP) strongly condemned the arrests and violent treatment of Grand Alliance employees and political leaders, calling the use of tear gas and excessive force against protesters in Hub Chowki a blatant violation of democratic principles and provincial values.
In a statement, HDP criticized the targeting of the Provincial President of the Awami National Party (ANP), Asghar Khan Achakzai, his associates, and Grand Alliance employees during a peaceful protest, describing such actions as anti-employee and undemocratic. The party emphasized that peaceful protest and raising demands are fundamental democratic and human rights, which cannot be suppressed by force.
Expressing full solidarity with ANP, Asghar Khan Achakzai, and the Grand Alliance, HDP urged authorities to recognize the legitimate demands of the employees, implement a Dispute Resolution Authority (DRA) similar to other provinces, and immediately release all arrested personnel.
