Former Pakistan cricket captain Mohammad Hafeez has expressed his opinion that Pakistan should participate in the 2026 ICC World Cup.
Hafeez addressed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), urging them to ensure the team takes part in the tournament.
The 2026 World Cup is scheduled to be held from February 7 to March 8 in India and Sri Lanka. Pakistan is expected to make a final decision on participation either this Friday or the following Monday.
Meanwhile, the ICC included Scotland in the World Cup after Bangladesh was denied entry to India. Pakistan had assured full support to Bangladesh in this matter.
